Funding Alumni Initiatives
Eisenhower Fellowships is pleased to make available funds in support of Fellow-initiated gatherings that increase productive interchange and collaboration among alumni.
EF welcomes proposals from alumni associations for organizing events of topical interest to a group of Fellows. They can range from hosting a key dignitary for a luncheon or dinner address to a weekend get-together for the Fellows' association. Events may be organized in cooperation with other like-minded organizations. Events involving a larger audience or bringing together a subset of Fellows sharing common interests at a major conference are also eligible.
Criteria
Our general criteria for EF support include the following:
- An alumni group of Fellows will be principal organizer of the event (though others may be co-sponsors)
- The event will provide Fellows with a significant program of topical interest and will maximize opportunities for Fellow interaction.
- Outreach efforts for the event will be organized to promote Fellow attendance.
- Program materials designed for the event will include a short EF description and logo.
- Requests for EF support will be submitted to Philadelphia at least 2 months prior to the event to ensure sufficient advanced scheduling and financial planning.
- EF financing, targeted to agreed purposes, will support up to a maximum of $5,000, depending on the nature of the event, and will not exceed 50% of the event’s total budget.
- A brief final report will be submitted to EF with information on attendance, program description, and allocation of funds
