Each human being has in his career an impression with which has been marked
by a teacher.
Perhaps they are the marks left by that woman who opened the door to us to
the universe of the knowledge through the first letters and of the first
calculations. Or perhaps they are the marks by which it crossed our life
by outside formal education. The certain thing is that those indelible tracks
are the test that the education entails the capacity of an individual to
extend through another one.
Because to educate it is a deeply shared in common action. It is the opportunity
that has the human beings to accompany to others in the transit that takes
them, as they said to us of small, to strengthen roots and to unfold the
wings.
To educate in a society in which the bows between the people are liquefied
and they become fragile and where the difficulties are a reality and they
are harnessed of constant way is a complex task.
Nevertheless, paradoxically, in volatile surroundings, governed by the technologies
and the laws of marketing, the educational ones continue being the hosts
of one of the few still effective scenes to construct bonds. In those scholastic
scenes, values like love, freedom and identity receive carnadura.
Those are that can promote the formation of men and women identified with
the respect of the human rights the preservation and, the teachers recognition
different from the medio.ambiente in which we lived. They are the thought,
the access to the new knowledge, the confrontation with diversity of saberes
and opinions and the investigation in diverse cultures the abilities that
allow us to constitute to us in humbler people, less prejudiced and more
ethical.
Teachers are those that make us become aware definitive from which we are
perfectibles, of which are more knowledge to apprehend.
From the ancestral cultures, the teacher is the leader in the society, a
leader with the charisma sufficient to illuminate minds and hearts. A guide
able to stimulate the thought, even in adverse conditions.
In our country more than eight hundred thousand women and men they chose
the way of teaching like via for its professional development. They face
every day pressures for which they are not prepared. Many of the educational
Argentineans act in conditions that distan to be worthy, in scopes of poverty
and marginalization.
The new social contexts ahead put challenges to them for which they were
not prepared, but that hits target in the classroom hard.
In spite of everything, every day they receive children, young people and
adults who look for in them a bridge that allows them to surpass itself.
The each educational in individual and educative system as a whole faces
the deep transformation that produces the globalización. Nevertheless,
the essential dilemma that today has each teacher when watching at its students
perhaps has varied. Let us listen to the university professor of the University
of Malaga Jose Esteve when he affirms: "only which really it is worth
the full trouble and of sense the educational work like justifying that we
burn in him the our life is to help the students to be included/understood
to themselves, to understand the world that surrounds them and to find its
own place, from which they will be able to act totally in the society. To
be masterful of the humanity, we have to rescue the human value of the knowledge ".
For which, it concludes, "the basic task of the educational one is to
recover the restlessness".
Each human being has impression of a teacher. Unamuno remembers his, Giner
of the Rivers - it illustrates Esteve to us, like "a man that thought
speaking, thought living that it was his life to think and to feel and to
make think and feel". Perhaps, to remember our teachers, those that
helped to think us, allows us to recover energy to feed the flame that they
ignited in us. A stimulating way can turn out to recognize that although
only some have the gift of teaching all we have the happiness to feel students
to us.
